Brewing Joy: Vietnamese coffee in a box

We launched our Brewing Joy Gift Set back in 2024, when Ca Phin was still finding its way into the hands (and coffee cups) of people around the UAE.

The idea was simple: if we couldn't bring everyone to Vietnam, we could at least put some of our favourite parts of Vietnamese coffee culture into a box.

Years later, Brewing Joy is still one of our most-loved gifts.

So, what's brewing?

Each set features coffee from Vietnam. Depending on the box you choose, you'll get one or two Ca Phin House Blends, a selection of Vietnamese Single Origin coffee samples, and a traditional Vietnamese phin filter.

We also sneak in a small gift from Vietnam — something that changes from time to time, so there's still a surprise when you open the box.

It's a great starting point for someone new to Vietnamese coffee, but equally fun for the coffee nerd who thinks they've tried everything. And unlike flowers, you can drink it. 🌚

But... how do I use this phin?

If the person opening the box looks at their shiny new phin and thinks, now what? — we've got that covered too.

Our Vietnamese Coffee Workshop at Ca Phin Space in Dubai goes deeper into the coffee we grew up with: where Vietnamese coffee comes from, how the phin works, how to brew with it properly, and how to turn that slow drip into some of our favourite Vietnamese coffee drinks.

So you can gift them the coffee — and maybe the experience to go with it. Because learning how to make your own cà phê sữa đá is a pretty useful life skill, if you ask us.

Not sure what they like? Let them decide

We know gifting coffee can get oddly personal. Robusta or Arabica? Whole bean or ground? Fruity or chocolatey? Coffee or matcha? Maybe they don't want coffee at all and would rather have one of our mugs (only available at our shop).

That's why we also have Ca Phin Gift Cards, so they can pick whatever makes them happy — coffee beans, phins, merch, drinks or something else from Ca Phin.

Or build your own gift: choose any products you like and add a gift box for AED 15 (only available at our shop).

Brewing Joy is available online and at Ca Phin Space in JLT, Dubai, ready for holidays, corporate gifting, I saw this and thought of you moments — or no reason whatsoever.
